I am looking to buy a scooter for work. I don't know nothing about them at all. But I saw this one called City bug Electric scooter moped 350 W for $349.99. Is that a good scooter and or good deal?! what's maintence like for one of these?! I know very little about gas or eleectirc scooters..?? thanks

Scooters...?

I've been looking at kick/push scooters for a new alternative way of transportation, and I'd like to know what kind I should get. I've looked at Razors and the Kootrs. But the Kootrs are quite expensive and some kids I know don't find scooters as valueable (hint: I think they'll wreck it). Razors are smaller than Kootrs (shown on K's site) and seem to be quite cheap but the Pro model seems nice. I'd like to know what you think. I live in a smalltown and yes there's snow, I just need an alternative to a bike, cause I can't carry my bike onto my bus.

I'm currently in China and would like to find buyers for some excellent scooters a friend of mine manufactures. What are the types of street legal scooters in Virginia?

For Virginia residents - Can you please tell me the makes and models of scooters that are street legal - meaning you can ride them in traffic. I am not talking about the small scooters you can ride on sidewalks or on the side of the road. Also, for street legal scooters, do I have to have a motorcycle license or is a driver's license okay? Are there any motorcycle schools in Vancouver that offer lessons on SCOOTERS?

I'm planning to get my motorcycle Learner's license soon, and I'm looking into taking lessons specifically for driving motor scooters only. I've tried looking through the phone book, but all of the schools seem to only offer lessons on normal motorcycles. Can someone recommend me a school that offers scooter lessons in Vancouver, Burnaby, or that sort of area?

What type of vehicles besides vans can fit mobility scooters?

I'm thinking something like an suv, but the height on some scooters can range from 30"-47" which can be too tall to fit in the cargo door of an suv. I can't seem to find cargo door height in the specs of vehicles.

Can local governments impose registration fees and licensing on scooters without state approval?

Towns/cities in my area of Indiana have been instituting "ordinances," which make it illegal to drive a scooter/moped in town without a license. To get your license, your scooter has to be inspected and you have to pay a registration fee. These apply to scooters with 49 cc or less. Indiana's state laws say that if it's 49 cc or less, you don't need to have a license, etc. So, would local governments' ordinances stand up if challenged?

Why do Fat People ride the electric scooters in grocery stores?

Aren't those scooters suppose to be just for handicapped people? Can't the employee's at Wal-Mart just ask people to get off the scooters if they are just fat and not handicapped? Or is that being discriminating? Is being fat a handicap?
