I normally run on a treadmill, 9 miles a day at 6.7 mph and I am training for a half marathon and want to start running outdoors to prep for this. How many should I run outdoors if that is what I do indoors? I know treadmill running is easier than outdoors and I don't want to injure myself.

I just bought a bunch of herbs, and I can't decide whether to plant them outside or inside. I live in Southern Alaska, so I'm not sure whether they would thrive outdoors or indoors. It could be warm enough to grow them outdoors (it got almost to 70 degrees last week!), but it gets rather chilly sometimes, especially when the wind blows.

I am due in Jan, 2009. I am wondering what kind of clothes are warm enough for babies indoors and outdoors.
Will the onesies do for indoors, or does the baby need more? Should the baby be dressed in multiple layers for outdoors. How much will be too warm for the baby?
Thanks!

I have been told it is currently unsuitable for the outdoors. Are there any glazes (or anything else appropriate) that can make it suitable for the outdoors?

I love the outdoors. I realized that this winter after being inside for the last couple of months. One day when I buy my own place, I want it to be very outdoors like.

I have a sh*tbox that really needs to be painted before I can drive it around. Unfortunately, it is 14 degrees Fahrenheit outdoors and I am afraid that a special technique is in order. I am not particularly concerned with how it looks, I just want the car to be a uniform color.
Any wisdom?

I'm going to store my car for a long period outdoors cuz I dun have a garage. And the place where I park the car is under direct sunlight in the day time. Any good tips? The color of my car is silver metallic.

Or would I have to weather-proof the paper in some way? If so, what would I need?
I have some origami and other paper projects that I would like to leave outdoors if possible. But if not, I can always bring them back in during bad weather.
Thank you for your time.

I have three cats who have lived indoors all their lives. I'll be moving to a new house about two miles away from my current home, and would like for them to be yard cats after the relocation.
I'm afraid that once I introduce them to the outdoors, they'll:
a) freak out, and get lost in the new neighborhood, and never return
b) freak out and use their special kitty GPS system and return to their former home (since it's pretty close by)
What can I do to reduce the chances of this happening?
Are there any tips for easing the transition from indoors to outdoors?
