What are some magazines I can get in the mail that are similar to Girls Life Magazine? Also,in CosmoGirl and Seventeen do they talk about body stuff and sex?Just wondering because its on the website. Thanks!

What is the proper way to sterilize magazines that are donated to hospitals?

It seems to me that when I'm in the hospital, I would like magazines to read, so I'd like to gather some magazines from people. These are magazines that people receive, read, and would discard or recycle. I want to collect some of these magazines and donate them to hospitals, but it seems like the magazines should be sanitized first. Can you microwave magazines for a long enough time to properly sanitize them, yet not create a fire hazard?

What are some good piano magazines out there?

What literary magazines publish subversive writing?

I am trying to find places that would be willing to publish more subversive/dry short stories. All the popular magazines seem to be extremely literary and probably not interested in my style. So is there no hope? Are there any offbeat literary magazines out there? My writing has been compared to the love child of David Sedaris and Jerri Blank, if that gives you a better idea. Thanks for any suggestions.

I was wondering which magazines are good for teens that have writing tips and places to get your writing published besides the magazine Teen Ink. What is the best magazines for preteens?

I want to get both of my sisters a subscription to a fashion magazines but almost all the magazines out there are about drama, and gossip and i don't want my sisters getting into those sort of thing. Do you know one that would be appropriate for a 12 and 10 yr old? Maybe hair and makeup magazine with things like that.
