I have 3 ceramic light fixtures I want to link so that when it is plugged in all 3 light fixtures will light up using only one wire. Is there any way to do this with lamp cord? if so how do I do it. :)
I can't hire an electrician. It is for an indoor hydroponic grow box.

I got some flourescent light fixtures for free and they are for a hospital that is wired for higher voltage for the lighting than 110v.
The voltage on the box says 277 volt, but I think this is that they are rated up to 277, but made for 220 volts wiring.
Do hospitals use 220v for their lighting?
Is there a way to find out more about these light fixtures to be sure I wire them correctly?
I want to wire them to use as indoor lighting for a house, and will wire in a 220 breaker, but need to know if i am right about the lights and the voltage rating for the wiring.
Any advice is helpful and if you are an electrician, leave me an email or a website to learn more or to ask more questions.
The light fixtures are brand new and never opened and they were just throwing them away.
I have multiples, I want to wire them in parallel fashion to a 220 breaker in an existing house panel.
Am I right, will this work?
Thanks!

I'm currently in China now and saw how cheap some light fixtures and chandeliers are to buy here than in Canada/America. I was thinking of bringing them back with me so i can remodel my home. Can anyone tell me if these foreign light fixtures, chandeliers, etc, can be installed in my home in North America? I ask because I know the watts/volts are different so I'm not sure if they are usable or not.

I have three switches which run as four way switches so they light up three light fixtures at once. I want to separate each of the three switches to each of the three light fixtures. How would I do that. I have some background info on wiring so plzz don't tell me to hire an electrician.

I have a bunch of light fixtures that I want to sell (showroom quality). I have checked Ebay and it doesn't seem like there is much of a market for the type of stuff I have there. Is there anywhere else I can go to sell my wares?

I am trying to sell some light fixtures. They would be good for retail offices or commercial buildings. I've tried Ebay, Craigslist, and calling contractors in the area. I haven't had any luck. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can get these sold?

My husband put 2 new flush mount light fixtures in our kitchen. Now as you walk across they floor they will go off and come back on intermittently. He's checked the wiring and everything looks right. Previous lights didn't do this. What could be causing the problem?
They are flush mount lights from HD. They are not canned. I'll check the wattage.

I have some light fixtures I want to replace. Two are flat, metal panels with round bulbs sticking out. The panels are mounted directly to the wall and there does not appear to be any visible screws on the face of them. They are in the bathrooms.
The other one hangs over head in the dining room. It's a tacky faux chandelier thing but instead of crystals or glass, it has these small fake candle lights. The bulbs look like flame. I want it gone.
Help!

I plan too use 4 24 watt energy effecient bulbs in the light fixtures, and a tv, dvd and stereo.
well considering the house i just bought is an old house, almost half of the house is run on a single 15 amp breaker. I am trying to fix the problem one room at a time. Now i am running into the problem of almost maxes out at 200 amps at the box.
