Why would a player need to “drop a ball”?
How does the honour system in golf work?
After teeing off how is the order of play for the hole determined?

We are a family of (4) considering relocating to the Bellevue, Kirkland, are of Washington. We love to golf and belong to an affordable golf club in the twin cities. Is there something affordable out in the Seattle area that would offer housing close by, or possibly on the golf course?

I want to start playing golf. I'm 22 years old and I've done a little research on golf clubs. I knew going into this that Callaway is probably the best brand, but its also really expensive. Is Wilson a good brand for Women's golf clubs? I want to spend no more than 2 or 3 hundred dollars on a complete set to start out with. Is that reasonable?

Well i've never golf but i do watch all those people golfing on my telly, so it makes me wonder that whenever my uncle said that he went golfing the other weekend - my other relatives would be like WOW cuz well, golfing is expensive and the "rich" would always be the one that could afford to play for leisure for a sport like that. So why, why is golf expensive? Is it the golf set?

Although hard to believe, I compete in Professional MIni Golf tournaments around the country and was wondering what type of ball would perform best on the green (min golf course lol). I seem to like balls with a lower compression (Maxfli Noodle, Volvik Crystal) yet after reading up on the design of golf balls, I am not sure that this is the right decision. What type of balls (compression, three piece two piece etc.) would help increase my performance.

I was recently offered 10 dollars an hour to drive kids around on a golf cart for a golf tournament they are in. Seeing as i am 16 and dont have a job, i gladly accepted. But I have never golfed before so i have no idea how to "drive" a golf cart. Are there certain rules to driving a golf cart? Do you always stay on the cart path or can you go on the actual golf course sometimes?

Our company is sponsoring a golf tournament. We are going to be sponsoring some of the holes on the tee boxs handing out prizes. We need a game that we can play for the prizes. We have one game where the players try to hit a tennis ball into a bucket and if they get it in, they get a prize, but we need some more ideas for our other holes. Please Help with some ideas that you guys have done at golf tournaments, or just ones that you have heard of.

I don't know anything about golf carts, but have just acquired one and need to power its 48v system. Golf caddy batteries look like just 12v deep cycle batteries so I don't see why I can't use four of them to power a golf cart. Any extra advice would be greatly appreciated.
