What is a very good blu ray burner to get that likely will work with Windows 7?

I have several blu ray disks and would like to make back up copies of some of my favorite titles. Can someone please recommend a good model that does this well and wont break the bank? I have windows 7 on a pc. Also, what about copy write and regional coding locks. Do the burners come with software to eliminate that or do I have to buy and download that separately? Thanks!

Can anyone actually tell the difference in picture quality between a blu ray and dvd when played through a ps3? Yes, my tv's are 1080p. Are blu rays just a waste of money? From what I understand the ps3 upconverts regular dvd's. Thanks

I would like to a recommendation on a good blu ray player. Should I get a standalone player and buy a Playstation 3 because of their reliability. Any recommendations is appreciated. It will be connected to a HDTV 1080p hi def TV. I meant to say -- should I get a standalone player OR instead a Playstation 3. Thanks.

What's the difference between Pirates of the Caribbean 2-disc collector's edition and the blu-ray version?

I know that blu-ray is better quality. I'm just wondering in terms of special features, which version has more? Or are there certain features that pertain only to the blu-ray or only to the 2-disc collector's edition?
