Best answer: not a top con & proud (you need to change your name, or stop getting so many best answers...) is probably right. The other possibility is that they're trying to make sure they appear at the top of the list, if more than one seller has that particular book for sale.
All answer: Answer 1 well it could be because of the book is missing or it is in very bad shape..... or they are really desperate to dispose of it! 2010-01-05 13:14:58
Answer 2 Used book, right?
Take a look at their shipping and handling costs. They basically have some used paperbacks and are willing to sell them just for S&H. Same thing happens on ebay as well. 2010-01-05 13:15:34
Answer 3 If they sell for $.01, then I would think that they got the book free(or pretty much free buy buying in bulk) and then hiked up their shipping cost, so buyer thinks they are getting the book sooo cheap but seller is still making $$. 2010-01-05 13:17:03

Answer 5 They may just want to get rid of the book because it could be in a really bad condition. remember: you also have to pay the shipping fee so it isn't that cheap. If i were you, i would just buy books from other places or books that amazon sells (not the other sellers). 2010-01-05 14:15:53
