Where should I start learning about electronics and circuits?
I've seen many cool electronics modding and circuit making projects online that have interested me in wanting to try to make some of them. Sadly, I don't know much about electronics. Let's assume I know absolutely nothing about electronics and circuits, what resources would help me learn about them?

Best answer: These are the resources I myself used toward learning about electronics, circuit design and specialist areas. I work as an electronics engineer right now:

All answer: Answer 1 Start with simple circuits you get online and answer the questions about them in the material. DC circuits first then move to AC 2011-05-04 17:42:51
Answer 2 hit up 'allaboutcircuits.com' i am quite fond of that site. i am in school for it cuz i have access to equipment and hands on tutelage which is nice. but it can be done without school. also get yourself a copy of national instruments 'multisim'. its a software equivalent to a breadboard with all the components you will likely need. play around with that and build the circuits you read about online to tinker with them. 2011-05-04 17:54:25

Answer 4 There is a website called New Electronics, while it doesn't strictly teach you about making and modifying circuits it does contain a lot of news and technology articles about them, which you may find interesting.
Here is the link to their technology section:
