What should i do to become a water Sports instructor?
I've not got hardly any experience in water sports but it really inerests me and ive been thinking about if i could become an instructor for water sports like wind-surfing.. What would be the best thing to do? Have as many lessons as possible then take a instructing course?Thanks guys

Best answer: If you want to teach wind surfing, you need to be proficient at it. Confidence goes along way when coaching students. You also need excellent ocean skills to keep your students safe. You mentioned getting lessons. The instuctor would be a great contact to have as far as employment and advice. There are many US certified instructor courses for many types of watersports, held in every state. Good luck.

Answer 2 To instruct someone else in windsurfing you need to be really good. I would take as many classes as you can and practice at least 3 times a week for a year before you start teaching. 2008-08-03 09:17:47
