What appliances can and cannot work with a 60 watt universal adapter?
I'm about to buy a step up/ down voltage adapter that would convert 110 V- 220 V/ 220 V- 110 V. It's a 60 watt adapter. Wonder what appliances can and cannot work with that?
Thanks

Best answer: You need to check the label on each appliance to see how many WATTS it pulls. You need to keep the watts at 60 or less.
Example, a 1400 watt hair dryer would NOT work.
A lamp with a 100 watt bulb would NOT work.
Exceeding the watt requirement can damage the adapter and possible cause a fire. You might also damage the appliance.
All answer: Answer 1 Small TV
Radio/CD Player
A laptop during charge cycle (most don't require an adapter though)
Battery chargers
Electric Shaver
