Is there any way to "hide" music videos from your iPod Touch music library?
I own a 32 GB iPod Touch. One thing I hate about it is the fact that music videos appear in your music library. Is there any way to "hide" these, making them only visible in your video library? Also, the audio from the video sometimes plays when your iPod is on shuffle. Even when checking off the "skip when shuffling" option, this still occurs. Is there a way to stop? Will this be a possible feature in the upcoming firmware update? I would love any feedback. Thanks in advance!

Best answer: if you jailbreak it you can put the vids somewhere else.
All answer: Answer 1 That's odd. I have a 32 GB iPod Touch as well, and I've never had this problem. I've had videos in music playlists, but never in the music library. 2010-04-15 20:22:19

Answer 3 That's weird... I never heard of "music videos" listed on the library of the Music app. I know there is the Music App and the Video App separately (only on the iPhone they are one single App). If you want to hide the Video App you can jailbreak your device and install Spoof (which will hide the app) but.... there is something way better, you can download and install an app called "Lockdown" this cydia application will allow you to lock any application you want on your device and setup a password, and those "password protected" apps, won't open up until you type the password. 2010-04-16 03:52:48
