How to use a gift card to buy Amazon Kindle books?
I got a Kindle a while ago and I just got a gift card for Amazon Kindle for Christmas and I put it in and it works because its in my account settings but when I go to buy a book it has a list of my parents credit cards and tells me to pic one. How do I get it so that it just takes the money off my gift card like all the other times? (I tried on the computer and off the kindle and it didn't work either times) Thanks!

Best answer:In the purchase process, there's a field to enter Gift Cards & Promotional Codes before the last click to place your order. If you've already entered the Gift Card in, look at the screen where it lists your totals. It should say on the last line that it was paid with gift card right after the total.
