Does Anyone know what the power inverter is called that allows you to run you car electronics off mains power?
At car shows they run the cars electronics all the time.
Whats the inverter called that alowes them to do that?
Also does anyone know where to purchase one from?

Answer 6 if you wana do it cheap you can convert a atx computer power supply to work basic ones are 350 watt but you can get more powerfull ones 350 watts divded by 12 volts = 29 amps but i would not run one that hot i would go find a 600 watt computer power supply its not hard to convert one plans are online 2008-01-30 20:02:58
