Can I purchase a sliding patio door with blinds between the windows?

Is vinyl the best to get? if I have someone install a hinged patio vs a sliding patio door like we have now how much harder is this to do?

Replacing sliding patio doors with hinge doors is a good upgrade and will add value to your home. Hinged replacements are available to fit in place of sliding doors. Also the insulation value of the new doors will be much better and will save you money with heating and cooling. The blind between the glass on hinged doors are great, easy to operate and no cleaning other than the glass. I have installed many and everyone has been pleased with the transition. I suggest using an experienced carpenter unless you are into heavy DIY projects. This is a all day project and it takes a helper.

A hinged door would be somewhat more difficult. Right away I think of - the current door opening is not correct for that. If you do replace with a sliding door (much easier), Pella Door and Window has the blinds between the panes type.
