Can't buy books for my Kindle?
I currently live in Istanbul, Turkey and I had ordered a Kindle Touch in early December from a friend living in the U.S., it arrived fine and worked fine although there seems to be one flaw: I cannot buy books, even though I fully registered my Kindle with complete account information and credit card information. When I go to the store, I can view all the books although I cannot learn the price of the books, and neither I can buy any of the books. Instead of giving me an option to buy, it says "currently unavalaible". Can anyone help me with this?
Also, as a new Kindle user, I have another question: When I go to the "Audible Audiobooks" section, there are over 50,000 books although when I view the "Books" section, I see a total of 6 books avalaible. Why are there only six books in the books section while there are thousands of audibles avalaible? Plus, if I buy an audible book, will I be able to read it too?

Best answer: Some eBooks that are sold on Amazon cannot be sold overseas, as Amazon only has the rights to distribute them in the United States.
